Shelley DeMarco has spent over three decades walking the intersection of transformation, healing, and the sacred — long before it had a name in mainstream wellness.

Her path wasn't linear. After years building an executive career and running her own IT firm, Shelley found herself at a crossroads that no credential could navigate: grief, loss, and the quiet unraveling that eventually becomes the doorway to something real. It was through her own plant medicine journey that she experienced what she describes as her "Wizard of Oz moment" — not the discovery of something new, but the recognition of what had always been there.

That awakening became her life's work.

Today Shelley brings together more than 30 years of experience in personal transformation, psychedelic integration, ceremonial facilitation, sound healing, breathwork, and somatic practice. Her early foundation in 12-step recovery work — supporting families and loved ones of those in addiction — gave her a deep fluency in the terrain of trauma, resilience, and what it truly takes to change. Growing up immersed in classical music and the performing arts in New York, she developed an understanding of sound and voice as medicine that now anchors her work with clients and students alike.

As a psychedelic integration specialist and ceremonialist, Shelley weaves ancient traditions with modern therapeutic frameworks, holding space for practitioners who are ready to expand what healing can look like in their practice and in their lives.

She is the founder of Sage Soul, a transformational education and retreat company rooted in the belief that safe, sacred containers — in nature and in community — are where real change takes root.
